Alberni Inlet Sockeye Fishing Charter

We offer fully guided sockeye salmon fishing trips departing from Clutesi Haven Marina or China Creek Campground. Sockeye salmon start rolling into the inlet in June as they get ready to head up the Somas River. Prime dates to target sockeye salmon start the last week of June and continue to approximately the third week of July. Trips depart at first light and range from 4 to 5 hours in length. Three guests are recommended with an additional $50 for a fourth guest as an available option (max four guests). We recommend all guests pack lunch, snacks, and refreshments. Also, mornings can start off cool, so it's important to layer well for the weather. Fuel surcharge may apply. Prices do not include GST tax, and fishing licenses. 50% deposit required at time of booking.
Barkley Sound Fishing Charter

Depart from Clutesi Haven Marina or China Creek Campground, and enjoy the sunrise as we cruise down to Alberni Inlet to Barkley Sound for a full day of fishing. Fishing in Barkley Sound is available year-round, but the salmon fishing picks up from June to September, with August being the peak fishing season. Target a variety of pacific salmon. Trips depart at first light and range from 8 to 9 hours. We take three guests maximum. We recommend all guests pack lunch, snacks, and refreshments. Offshore/Bamfield Fishing Charter

Depart from Clutesi Haven Marina or China Creek Campground, and enjoy the sunrise as we cruise down the Alberni Inlet to the open waters of the Pacific Ocean. We recommend when booking offshore trips that you book a minimum of two days so that you can target different species, including a variety of pacific salmon, halibut, lingcod, and bottom dwelling rockfish. Offshore is like the oceans highway with Halibut showing up March through to September and the prime time for salmon being from June till September. Trips depart at first light and range from 8 to 10 hours. In the event sea conditions don't let us offshore the day is not a loss as we will still be able to fish inside the sound.
